Flexterra® HP-FGM® (High Performance-Flexible Growth Medium®) is an erosion control and revegetation product designed to provide immediate protection, rapid germination and long-term vegetative establishment. It combines 100% recycled, Thermally Refined® virgin wood fibers, patented Micro-Pore granules, non-toxic biopolymers, water absorbents and crimped biodegradable interlocking fibers to lock the engineered medium in place and retain moisture and nutrients. The system delivers greater than 99% erosion control effectiveness upon application, documented functional longevity of up to 18 months, and vegetation establishment ratings higher than other rolled or hydraulically applied products in ASTM testing.
