The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, was brought back from an abandoned, overgrown state to a revived community stadium using Turface All Sport® and Turface Pro League® Red infield conditioners. Volunteers and donated materials restored its original major league look while aiming for a self-sustaining field that requires minimal ongoing maintenance. Turface All Sport was incorporated into the infield mix and used as topdressing to create a consistent, level surface that absorbs excess moisture and improves drainage. Pro League Red added major league color and, together with All Sport, helps keep the diamond playable through the Northeast’s frequent, intense rainstorms.
