At Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, more than 20 acres (8 ha) of exposed soil on a steep stockpile slope required rapid stabilization and long-term vegetation following a renovation project. A soil test revealed low organic matter, leading to the use of ProGanics® Biotic Soil Media™ (BSM™) as an Engineered Soil Media™ (ESM™) to rebuild soil chemistry and support growth. JumpStart™, a hydraulic mulch additive, was added to accelerate germination, then EcoFibre® Plus Tackifier was applied for erosion control. The site quickly developed vegetative cover, a dense root system, and remained lush with sustainable vegetation two years later.
