New trials from Profile® Horticulture Solutions show how combining HydraFiber engineered substrate with Nutricote® controlled-release fertilizer can help growers reduce shrink by delivering higher-quality plants with improved shelf life. Using six popular annual and perennial varieties, mixes with Nutricote at 2, 4, 6 and 8 lbs./y3 are being compared to a 125 ppm nitrogen water-soluble fertilizer program from transplant through post-retail.
